Production process of stainless steel coil:
Raw material preparation: select the stainless steel raw materials that meet the requirements, such as iron, chromium, nickel and other elements of the composition of the billet.
Melting: melt the raw materials into liquid state, and carry out decontamination and refining treatment to ensure the purity of the composition.
Hot rolling: using slabs (mainly continuous casting billets) as raw materials, heated and made into strips by roughing mill units and finishing mill units. The hot strip from the last mill of the finishing mill is cooled to a set temperature by laminar flow and coiled into coils by the coiler.
Cold Rolling: After the hot rolled steel coils are pickled to remove the surface oxide skin, they enter the cold rolling mill for cold rolling to further refine the size and improve the surface quality.
Annealing: through annealing treatment to eliminate internal stress in the cold rolling process, improve the toughness of the material and processing performance.
Surface treatment: through pickling, polishing and other processes, to remove the oxide skin and pollutants on the surface of the stainless steel coil, to ensure a smooth surface.
Finishing: including levelling, straightening, shearing, coiling and other processes to ensure that the product meets user requirements.
Application areas of stainless steel coils:
Architectural field: used for building facades, curtain walls, roofs, staircases, railings and other components, favoured for their beauty and corrosion resistance.
Automobile manufacturing: used for automobile bodies, exhaust systems, parts and components, etc., to improve the safety and durability of automobiles.
Kitchenware and Food Processing: Used in kitchenware, food processing equipment, etc., due to its good hygiene performance and corrosion resistance.
Chemical industry: used in the manufacture of chemical storage tanks, pipelines, reactors and other equipment, able to withstand the erosion of chemical corrosive substances.
Medical equipment: used in surgical instruments, medical equipment, etc., due to its excellent hygienic properties and corrosion resistance.
