Aluminium-plated coil is a material with a layer of aluminium plated on the surface of steel or film by a special process, which has good corrosion resistance, heat reflection and processing properties.
Performance characteristics of Galvalume Steel Coil:
Strong corrosion resistance: the aluminium layer can form a dense protective film of aluminium oxide, effectively preventing the substrate from corrosion.
Good thermal reflectivity: galvalume steel coil have a high thermal reflectivity, twice that of galvanised steel, and are often used as thermal insulation materials.
Economy: Due to the lower density of aluminium, the area of galvalume steel coil is more than 3% larger than that of galvalume steel coil in the case of the same weight and the same thickness of coating.
Good processing performance: aluminium-plated coil is easy to stamping, welding and other processing, suitable for the manufacture of complex shapes of parts.
Testing Methods for Galvalume Steel Coil:
Aluminium layer adhesion test: Usually use the tape test method, the 3M tape will be pasted on the aluminium layer and peeled off to observe the area of the aluminium layer being peeled off.
Thickness test: The thickness of the aluminium layer is checked by a thickness gauge to ensure that it meets the process requirements.
